KING KONG Multidirectional System 2.5 November 25, 2024 # distal, extremities, handsurgery, kingkong, orthopedics, orthopedicsurgery, radiusplate, titaniumimplants, ulna, wristsurgery The multidirectional system features various radius compression plates that are anatomically adapted to the distal radius and distal ulna. System Advantages: Rounded edges and a smooth surface for soft tissue protection. Two distal screw rows provide optimal support for the articular surface: Very distal plate positioning is possible. Improved anatomical fit, adapted to the volar aspect of the distal radius. Multidirectional angular stability of ±20° in all directions in each screw hole. Drilling sleeves are already integrated into the screw holes to ensure safe and easy drilling. A perfectly streamlined shape of the plate was achieved through computational fluid dynamics, a technology commonly used in aerospace and automotive industries. Plate Features: Hook Plate: Specially designed to prevent or treat nonunions at the ulnar styloid. Pointed Hooks: Grip the styloid process and act as a reference point for plate application. Ulnar Hook Plate: Designed for capital and subcapital fractures and nonunions of the distal ulna. Clinical Benefits: Watershed Line: Enhances plate placement and reduces the risk of tendon irritation. First Distal Screw Row: Provides support for the central aspect of the radiocarpal joint. Second Distal Screw Row: Stabilizes the dorsal rim. Download Brochure
